3 great youtube channels for Christians

I’ve compiled a list below of 3 of my favourite resources on youtube for Christians who want something contemporary and fun to feed their faith outside of traditional sermons. These are also great for people exploring Christianity for the first time or who are trying to rebuild a relationship with Christ and don’t know where to begin. They are great to listen to while you’re getting ready in the morning, driving, etc.  I hope at least one of them blesses you :)

Jeff’s content is fantastic. He’s a breath of fresh air, eloquent, and his passion for God really comes across. He does spoken word (see his piece titled ‘Why I hate religion, but love Jesus’), solid relationship advice videos with his wife, and general videos on the Christian life, such as ‘What to do when you don’t feel God’ etc

I mentioned her faith-based motivational videos in a previous favourites post. Her advice isn’t that wishy washy rubbish thats everywhere. There are no full on bible teachings either although occasionally she uses scripture to illustrate a point.  Her advice is practical and she shares a lot of evidence from lives of successful people and her own personal anecdotes. If you need a bit of a kick up the bum because you know you’re not living at your full potential or working hard to get the most out of all aspects of your life, Terri’s your girl! Her voice is also so bloody comforting. Check out her video ‘The one thing that reveals where your life is headed’

The Bible Project is the brainchild of  a duo – Tim Mackie (a pastor& professor) and a Jon Collins (founder of two communications companies) who use clever animation videos to give a narrative of each of the different Books in the Bible. The videos are absolutely incredible, quality and content wise. It’s so important to read the word of God but i know it can be intimidating figuring out where to start. I recommend starting with one of the first four New Testament gospels OR reading the book of Proverbs(which I happen to be currently reading) because theres always room for more wisdom and its has 31 chapters so you can do a chapter a day, complete it in a month and feel like a badass sage. Check out The Bible Project’s video on the book of Proverbs HERE.

Hope you’ve had a great start to the week. If you haven’t, send me the names of anyone who has refused to let you shine… so i can pray for them. I was going to suggest something else but cant because, salvation.

See you tomorrow!x

  1. Thank you for sharing these. I Love Terri! And I agree with you that her voice is comforting. I’ll definitely check out the other videos.
